About Bello Iris Inc.
Our company was created in 2003 with a vision to help women of all shapes and sizes, to look and feel great without spending a fortune. Elite Fashion Shop, was our original name in 2003, but our owner wanted to change the name to something more meaningful.
In 2004 our company name was changed from Elite Fashion Shop to Bello Iris. The meaning of this name was significant to our vision. Bello which means beautiful in Italian, and Iris which is a gorgeous flower, were combined together to create a meaning of beauty. Our company name represents the confidence and feeling of beauty we want women to have when they purchase our products.
With a name change and a new attitude, we wanted to add some more products to our store so our customers had a variety of items to choose from. Our store consisted of apparel only, but in February 2004, we introduced designer inspired purses to our website which became a huge hit. We wanted to offer our customers cruelty free, high fashion purses without the high prices. Bello Iris is the only cruelty free website that sells designer inspired purses!
In 2005 we sent out a survey to our customers and asked them about customer rewards and appreciation. After reading your feedback we wanted to show you we value your opinions. In May, 2005, we added free gifts to our website, to show our appreciation for all of the support you have given to us.
While our customers are important to us, we also know there are many organizations that need our help and support. In 2005, we started donating a portion of our profits to a few exceptional organizations. Some of these wonderful non-profit charities are:
